ZStack only allows you to add or delete IP ranges. To modify the IP range of an L3 network, add a new IP range and then delete the previous one. Next, restart the VM instance. Then, you can re-allocate IP addresses from the newly added IP range.

Note: When you delete an IP range, note that:
  • Deleting an IP range will cause the VM NIC that uses the IP range to be uninstalled. Please exercise caution.
  • If the L3 network already has an IP address for the DHCP service and the IP address is within the chosen IP range, after the IP range is deleted, the IP address of the DHCP service will be retained. If all the IP ranges in the L3 network are deleted, the IP address of the DHCP service will be released.
